Origin of Sky-high Boxers

Boxella's Cincinnati Carieva AX, AXJ, NAP "NATI"

Tekoneva's Omaija OA, NAJ, NAC, OJC "MAIJA"

Tekoneva's Sky-high Abigail MX, MXJ, NAP, MJP, AAD, AS, AG, PJ2, PG1, NAC, NJC, FFXP "ABBY"

Nati, Maija, and Abby were the foundation dogs of Sky-high Boxers.  Sky-high came about after the birth of Abby, Nati's daughter, in November of 1999.  I picked Abby because of her outgoing temperament and sound structure.  She had a biddable fun-loving attitude, showed confidence without being pushy, and was curious enough to be the first to climb out of the whelping box; all traits I value.  Without hesitation, by 6 weeks of age, I knew Abby had to be mine.  Hence, my search for the perfect name.

My boxers, with German in their pedigree's, personified the true meaning of "Working Dog". They were high drive boxers, fast and extremely agile, always ready to work, eager to please, yet they loved to play and were extremely loyal. They thrived on activity and were not meant to be couch potatoes. Nati, Maija and Abby had natural abilities for agility and exemplified Sky-high's own definition; "TO A VERY HIGH LEVEL", "AN ENTHUSIASTIC MANNER", "HIGH UP IN THE AIR" and "HIGH IN VALUE".    SKY-HIGH BOXERS WAS BORN.

"Boxers, they come into our lives and change us."
